to prevent future accidents from happening, the nanjing major chemical production emergency drill was held on nov 18 in the second thf unit spot of bluestar new chemical materials co., ltd, nanjing company.
the chemical park, several enterprises and the city government initiated their emergency response plans respectively, and kept the situation under control through a unified, normative and ordered emergency command and a scientific rescue. the drill fully demonstrated the enterprises’ capacity of self-rescue, the chemical park’s functional emergency control system and the government’s ability of emergency rescue. the drill was conducted in a well-organized way and was sponsored by the national production safety emergency rescue command center.
