adisseo established an r&d center for chemical processes -- cinachem (adisseo chemistry innovation center) -- in saint-fons, france, on may 21, to improve its r&d capacity in the rhone-alps region, at a cost of 33 million euros and about 3 million euros for the r&d area. the center will cooperate closely with some 80 enterprises in the region and employ 370. by 2015, it is expected to hire more than 10 engineers and r&d personnel, while adhering to environmental protection and safety standards.
adisseo has been involved in the production, r&d and sales of animal nutrition additives, since 1977, and has committed itself to business in the region. it recently put 112 million euros into two production bases, in saint-clair-du-rhone and roussillion, and with the support of various processes, competitive production bases, universities, and an industrial system, it has increased its cooperation in the region and with axelera.
