the bluestar (beijing) chemical machinery co recently finished a steam boiler cleaning project in turkmenistan with a team led by kang bo, chief engineer, and fan xiaoxu, technician. the company sent the team immediately after signing a contract and, while they prepared to transport the cleaning materials, the team did an inspection of three scale-ridden steam boilers. then, they consulted with the owners about the schedule and details of the cleaning project. it turned out to be a difficult task because of the scale (6-centimeters thick on average), the violent and cold weather (-13 c), and the amount of steam required for the cleaning process. but, in cleaning the boilers one at a time, the crew did everything they could and the project was not impeded by the low temperatures. after three days of hard work, they completed the project and, more importantly, all three boilers passed a quality acceptance test.
