recently, the communist youth league central enterprise work committee and the central enterprise youth federation released the list of excellent youth prize winners. lian wentao, general manager of bluestar silicone, lanzhou bluestar and bluestar cleaning, won the prize. luo xiongxiong, general manager of shanxi synthetic rubber, was nominated. it was the second time bluestar personnel received the award since li bin, head of the youth league committee of shenyang chemical.
lian wentao and luo xiongxiong are excellent representatives of bluestar’s youth leaders who went to work at the grassroots level. they actively responded to chemchina general-manager ren jianxin’s call for youth leaders to toughen up by working on the frontline, shouldering responsibilities and striving to achieve personal value.
the excellent youth prize was set up in 2011 and is held every two years to award 100 youth leaders with outstanding work performance and contributions to reform and development of state-owned companies. the winners must stand for the positive spirit and value of modern youth leaders. a total of 78 people have been nominated for the award.
