recently, chemchina’s youth league committee announced the winner of the may 4 evaluation for 2013, and bluestar changsha institute’s lop nor sylvite project team won the chemchina youth civilization award.
the project team was established in 1999, and has evolved into one filled with youth and vitality after 15 years of development. there are 85 members at the moment, including 54 under the age of 35, accounting for 64 percent. the project team’s services cover research and development, design and engineering management. the team has paid great attention to the youth league committee’s work and has won many awards in activities held by hunan trade union and youth league committees at the provincial and institute level.
the sylvite project has won many important national and industrial awards over the 15 years. the sylvite development and utilization research in lop nor won the first national science and technology progress award in 2004, the 1.2-million-ton potash fertilizer feasibility research in lop nor won the first prize in excellent national engineering consultation achievements in 2006, and the 1.2-million-ton potassium sulphate package technology development won the first national science and technology progress award in 2013.
