bluestar silicones international (bsi) attended the tire technology expo 2014 in cologne, germany， from feb 11 to 13. at the expo, bsi rolled out its new lyndcoat release agents that can be used in tire lubricants, bladder coatings and mould release agents.
the release agent application step limits tire production capacity in the tire industry, so bsi developed its multi-release inside paint lyndcoat br2512 to overcome this problem. the product has improved properties overall. it allows customers to cut their costs and strikes an optimal balance between durability, slip and air bleed, which greatly lowers defect rates and extends bladder life.
a factory compared the br2512 bladder release with other non-filled, multi-release materials. it found a drastic reduction of eccentricity ratio and a 20 percent increase in bladder life.
meanwhile, br2512 enables a reduction in coat weight, while still offering high performance and low defect rates. this insures a direct benefit for customers due to reduced release agent consumption and significant savings in warehouse space and internal transport.
