recently, ebs (elkem business system) university of china held a training seminar at xinghuo silicones, the largest factory of elkem. more than 30 participants from subordinated factories of elkem in china such as elkem silicones (xinghuo), elkem silicone materials (yongdeng), elkem carbon (china), elkem foundry products (china), elkem silicones (shanghai) and bluestar as well as the coach and support team from ebs university attended the seminar.
ebs university holds a training seminar once a year at elkem factories around the world. this training in china is the first time that the university has adopted the chinese language teaching method in the whole course. during the one-week training, participants comprehensively and systematically learned the definition, purpose, development history, basic principles, and main tools of ebs. during the group activities such as ejection ball production simulation, "marshmallow" challenge, and the a3 practice at xinghuo production site, the participants fully communicated with and chased each other. finally, each participant successfully completed the learning tasks, and verified the learning effect with the best practice.
