the youth league committee of china national bluestar (group) co ltd had held its annual christmas gala in the evening of dec 14. the party was held concurrently at the beijing headquarters, nanjing adisseo and jiangxi xinghuo organic silicone plant.
adopting a video mode for the first time, bluestar and its subsidiary enterprises made interactions with each other during the gala. ren jianxin, president of chemchina, delivered a speech.
"under a severe situation of a slow recovery of the world’s economy and increasing downward pressures of our domestic economy, bluestar has withstood many tests this year, such as industry overcapacity, tepid demand and intensified competition. however the bluestar management team has worked in full cooperation to lead its 30,000 employees to cope with challenges, take effective measures to strengthen corporate management and upgrade its operation levels. i expect you will work harder and forge ahead in the upcoming year. i believe bluestar will perform better next year," said ren.
the bluestar youth league committee has worked together with their counterparts from eight subsidiary enterprises, such as bluestar (beijing) chemical machinery co ltd, jiangxi xinghuo (spark) organic silicone plant, shenyang chemical co ltd, nantong xingchen synthetic material co ltd, nanjing adisseo, china bluestar chengrand research institute of chemical industry, china bluestar lehigh engineering corp, and shanghai new chemical materials.
they spent 3 days of their spare time to organize its young employees to introduce a creative plan for rehearsing a video promo. the "bluestar style" video had been accompanied with the music, "gangnam style", our youth league members imitated “aircraft carrier style” modeling, and acted as "taking off" in their own ways. the performance was the biggest draw of the christmas gala.
more than 300 people attended, including leaders from chemchina and bluestar, top executives of subsidiary enterprises, young employees, foreign executives and their family members.
